Ephesus Day Trip From Istanbul
The tour starts with a pick-up from your hotel in Istanbul and a transfer to the airport for a flight to Izmir. From there, you will be met by a driver who will take you to Ephesus for the tour.
The House of the Virgin Mary, is a significant religious site for Christians. According to Christian tradition, St. John brought the Virgin Mary to this location after the crucifixion of Jesus, and she lived there until her death. The House of the Virgin Mary is a pilgrimage site visited by many Christians and the annual mass in honor of the Virgin Mary is held on August 15th. Visitors also can drink and take home spring water that is believed to have healing powers.
The Ancient City of Ephesus is one of the largest and best preserved Roman cities in the Eastern Mediterranean. Our Daily Tour will be finalised around 4:30 pm and After the tour, you will be transferred back to Izmir Airport for your flight back to Istanbul. Our driver will pick you up at the Istanbul airport and transfer you back to your hotel in the evening.
